Olympique Lyonnais was a dream come true for me. I always wanted to play professionally, even though I never thought it was really going to happen. I have never played with so many gifted, experienced and skilled players before in my life. I appreciate getting to do what I love most on a daily basis and I am going to enjoy it for as long as possible.

FC Zurich I joined because I wanted to come back home for some time to look for a club to play for in Europe. It was nice to play in Switzerland again in front of the home crowd, and it was nice to see where Swiss women soccer was at four years after I left. I had a lot of fun with the team; they were an awesome group who won the Swiss championship for the second time in a row that year.

Ohio State University was my first team away from home. But when you play for a college in the US it is much more than just about soccer: academics are very important and it is very hard to describe in words what it means to be part of such a big institution. Playing at OSU I learned more about myself than I ever have in my life. Naturally because I was far away from home but also because everyday, excellence was being asked of you. As much as it was a physical challenge for me with long and intense trainings, it was a mental challenge to keep up the motivation to go out on the field everyday and to leave everything I had out there so I got to know what my limits really are.

Jersey Sky Blue was a little bit of the same idea as the Wildcats. The coaching staff as well as lots of the players from the summer before got back together to create a new club. The only difference was that the goal was to become one of the professional teams for the new league that was going to start up a year or two later. The team was filled with amazing players again, and I enjoyed my second summer in New Jersey at least as much as I did my first.

New Jersey Wildcats is a team where I played shortly in the summer of 2006 to stay in shape over the long summer break we had in college. Even though I was only there for a short time I learned a lot since, for the first time in my life, I got to play and train with world-class soccer players and under a great coaching staff.
