Lara scores on her birthday for Switzerland!

Lara Dickenmann has won and scored on her 30th birthday for Switzerland in the Euro Qualifying game away to Northern Ireland.


Switzerland scored 8 goals in the 1-8 win in Lurgan against Northern Ireland on the way to the UEFA Women's Euro 2017 in the Netherlands. With goals from Fabienne Humm (14th and 35th minute), Rahel Kiwic (84th minute), Martina Moser 33rd minute) and Florijana Ismaili (36th minute) Nati went 0-5 ahead before home team captain Rachel Furness could score a goal backgin this game (1-5, 37th minute). After the break Ana Maria Crngorcevic (59th minute), substitute Barla Deplazes (74th minute) and Lara Dickenmann (85th minute) made the final score 1-8 in Lurgan.


With this win Switzelrand has the maximum of 9 points after 3 games in this Group 6 before Italy 6 points out of 3 games and the Czech Republic, the next opponents of Switzerland,  with 3 points out of 2 games. Northern Ireland are fourth also with 3 points out of 2 games while Georgia is fifth and last in the table still without points after 4 games.
